Moneyball review on the back-burner due to the White House supporting a constituional amendment. Andrew Sullivan has jumped ship and well, it's going to be more than just a bloody 9 months. I'm seriously wondering how we can ever begin to feel unity after November. Maybe Baseball will provide.

As you may have observed if you follow baseball. Alex Rodriguez went to the Yankees. Surprise. Huge contract + hugely wealthy team = new teammate. Now I'm angry because the Yankees MUST WIN THE AL EAST NOW or finish 3rd. Why? Because if they win the AL East, Boston is the Wildcard and the Twins can beat Boston. First off let me call the superbowl.... PANTHERS! There's no way New England can win, not when Tom Brady is guested by Laura Bush! Plus according to superbowl lore, if AFC New England wins the economy goes down and it makes it easier presumably to remove him from office.
